No one likes to lose money - especially the considerable sums we entrust to financial services firms for our future. Unfortunately, however, things can sometimes go wrong, which is where the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) can help.

FSCS is a statutory fund of last resort a financial safety net for consumers - and can pay compensation if a UK-authorised financial services firm is unable, or likely to be unable, to pay claims against it. It is an independent body and free for consumers to use, so if you have - or think you might have a claim - view the transcript from our webchat with Suzette Browne and Esther Norris from FSCS which took place on Monday 30th October at 1.00pm.
